    Pacific Northwest Work Adventures takes you to an iconic island community while working with leaders in tourism and adventure. This destination work program is located in the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington state.

    Our partners in the San Juan Islands want teens and college students for positions as Sea Kayak Guides and Operations Leaders.

    We connect you with temporary employment and affordable housing in San Juan Islands. You earn money, life skills, and job training while getting access to the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest – wildlife discovery, camping and hiking right in your backyard

    San Juan Islands Program Details

    The Pacific Northwest Work Adventures program isn’t just a summer job. It’s an opportunity to invest in your skillset. Once we connect you with a position that fits your experience and interests, we support you throughout the job.

    As an Adventure EXP program participant, you’ll get personalized career coaching with our team. You’ll also complete basic personal finance training in budgeting, credit, investing, and earnings.

    Most of our job seekers travel to Washington from across the country. We’ll get you settled into your new home by connecting you to housing, transportation, and excursions. We’ve got your back at every step of the way.

    The Pacific Northwest Work Adventures provides the following benefits:

    • CPR/First Aid Certification and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification
    • Paid seasonal positions working in the outdoors in an exciting tourism industry
    • Shared housing up to $500 / month
    • Excursions to local points of interest

    For this program, you will need to provide your own waterproof gear for cold-water conditions. Detailed needed equipment will be provided to you with recommended vendors
